Custom Japanese Knife handle (wa handle) - Canxan Negro Burl

This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from fantastic Canxan Negro (Nargusta) burl.

Medium - it is suited for a 210-240mm Japanese knife.

Weight 52g Length 134.1mm (5.25”) 

Handle is sanded to 600 grit, then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer

Care :

• Hand wash with soapy water and towel dry.
• Do not put in dishwasher, nor soak in water for long periods of time.
• Oil on a fairly regular basis, or sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer like tru-oil as needed.
