This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made a beautiful piece of Cocobolo, which is a true rosewood, with a marbled horn ferrule. Cocobolo will slowly darken with time and lose a bit of the brilliance. 

Suited for a 165-210 mm  Japanese knife.

Weight 53g   Length 131 mm (5 1/8”)

Handle is sanded to 600 grit and then coated in 5-6 coats of Tru-Oil.

Use and care - Hand wash and dry - Never put in dishwasher nor leave in hot soapy water.
