Custom Japanese Knife handle (wa handle) - Nice African Blackwood and Sugi Cedar

This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from a nice piece of African Blackwood with a curly Sugi cedar ferrule. The spacer is a recon stone and brass

Suited for a 240 mm  gyuto or other Japanese knife.

Handle is sanded to 600 grit and then coated in 5-6 coats of Tru-Oil.

Use and care - Hand wash and dry - Never put in dishwasher nor leave in hot soapy water.
