Custom Japanese Knife Handle - Walnut

This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from local walnut with A rosewood ferrule. The walnut has been treated with CA to add durability.  

Medium sized, it is suited for 165-210 mmJapanese knives. 

Weight: 35g Length: 132mm (5.25”)

Handle is sanded to 600 grit and then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection.

Care :

• Hand wash with soapy water and towel dry.
• Do not put in dishwasher, nor soak in water for long periods of time.
• Oil on a fairly regular basis, or sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer like tru-oil as needed.
