La Rue Sans Loi — The Street of Law — is a 1950 French drama set in the shadowy underworld of Paris. Young orphan Yves Tréguier escapes a reformatory in Brittany and finds his way to the capital, where he forges a deep friendship with street tough Dédé Ice, falls for the warm-hearted Zette, and finds a father figure in the benevolent bar owner Father Blain. But jealousy, betrayal, and the violence of the Parisian underworld threaten to destroy everything — until love and loyalty find a way through.
